Mookie was in the night drop box at the Oakland Animal Shelter with his 5 siblings, we think he is about 10 years old.
He is a complete dream dog, loves everyone and is so ugly that he is cute. Everyone that sees him wants to know his story, he is good with other dogs,too!
Mookie is in foster care and will be getting neutered, he also takes meds for thyroid condition. Through our Muttville fundraising, Mookie’s meds will be paid for for life.
We just want the Mooks to find the perfect loving home!

Mookie is mellow, very sweet and a good listener. She is fantastic on the leash and kept up without a problem on a 50 minute walk. She really impressed me! Mookie is great with other dogs. She would easily fit into a household with an existing dog or cat.Mookie is great with cats! She is house trained and also potty pad trained. She never had an accident while she was here. Mookie is just a wonderful, happy, good natured dog. She is not a barker. She sleeps through the night. I can’t say enough about this special little dog!
