Poor Monte was found an abandoned, hurt and starving Queensland Heeler. This sweet boy was just tossed away like a used disposable camera. The couple who found him him with affection, care, safe shelter and food and water for his tummy. He has become a very loyal and loving dog to these people, but sadly they can’t permanently keep him.
Rusty is about 8-9 years old he is lame in one leg and has some hearing loss. The vet says that he must have had a break at one time in his leg and it was never fixed. He is in no pain from the injured leg so it does not need to be amputated. Rusty gets along just fine on the other 3 legs.He seems to do good with dogs, he gets excited when he sees someone new and wants to play, he is very sweet and sociable boy. He is such a sweet boy with lots of years left in him to give love and companionship to someone and Rusty needs someone special to appreciate him for the great dog that he is.
