Mexico Mutt, that’s what our little girl is! Found starving in a village in Mexico, the rescue org had never seen a dog that old and alive on the streets, so they took her in. Fortunately for Maya, they knew Muttville and once we heard her harrowing tale of being starved and having litter and after litter of puppies and scrounging for food, we just couldn’t turn away. Her tail has not stopped wagging since she arrived here and her smile is from ear to ear! She weighs about 40 pounds and is 7 years old-but had a hard life…so she looks older Maya is full of joy and full of life, she loves everyone she meets, too. What a love!!! She now gives kisses and has put on over 10 pounds. Her skin is clearing up, too. She is learning about all things CA, like cars and streets and good food!!
