This is the perfect little poodle girl who is from LA but – she is is not all about image! Maude loves children and loves to play! She does know she is cute, she LOVES to be held! She will hog your lap but that’s A-OK. She gets along with other dogs and walks well on leash. She is an easy keeper with loads of love to share! She’s house trained, too!

We think she is about 10 years old but she could be younger. Maude is a lovable, sweet, playful family dog, a white fluff ball. She loves attention, people and fun. She is good sleeper and eater. Maude deserves a home where there are people and children and other animals to share in the fun. While she’s not a great mountain hiker (she’s small) and she sticks close to home (likes being on a leash), she is adventurous to go new places and make new friends. Maude weighs 13-14 pounds. Her foster Mom says," Maude melts your heart when she smiles!"

This is from Maude’s previous adopter

Maude has been a pleasure to live with – smart, fun, sweet, loving, playful. Maude is AKA Maude Baby Floppy Ears Snowflake Goofy. Maude loves attention and people. She is well behaved as a house guest and everyone loves her. Maude is perfectly house trained, whines when she wants to go outside in the morning or jumps around by the front door anytime when needed, and she uses the pee pad out in the corner of the kitchen when needed.

Maude is great on a leash. She leads the way for a 20 to 25 minute walk, but sometimes later in the afternoon, especially when it is hot out, she turns around and wants to come home quicker. She loves to chase and play with and chew some of her special squeaky cloth toys.

She’s more of an indoor dog. She has never spent the night or afternoon alone outside, even on enclosed patio. She had an ear yeast infection, and a few weeks ago she had a full blood panel. The result is that she is healthy. Though the Vet says she needs to lose 5 pounds.

Maude does not like to be crated. She acts like a front door guard dog when left unattended. When workmen come over, she gets pretty upset, best to put her in another room to calm down. It’s probable that a man was not kind to her in her previous home. She is friendly when my guy friends come over and she loves all the neighborhood kids who want to pet her. Maude loves, loves to be petted, she purrs when you rub her back, she’ll roll over for a belly rub anytime.

Maude is not afraid of any dog, any size. On our walks she wants to see the big dogs. The big dogs next-door bark at the fence, Maude wants to go up to the fence and bark back. This leads me to think she would be fine living with any size dog.

See cute Maude’s playful side!
