(Lumber) Jack

This big soft easy going guy is as solid as he is mellow. He’s approximately 8 years old. The shelter volunteers called him “bombproof” – and this is a guarantee – he sat through an hour of fireworks on the Fourth within a 20 foot range without so much as batting an eyelash! He is absolutely unflappable – great with kids, other dogs, birds. The shelter volunteers also compared him to Nana from Peter Pan, and we couldn’t agree more! Jack was abandoned in the night drop, but no one can figure out why! He is soft and loves to be pet and brushed and hugged and kissed. He won’t chase toys, but he will chase cats. He is sweet and quiet, great in the car, and loves nothing more than to find a comfortable place close to his people to lie in the sun. Jack will be a great addition to any household, as long as it’s cat free!
