Sail away sweet little boy…..
Sadly, I write to share the news that our friend, Leo has passed on. In the almost 18 months that we lived with him, Leo transformed our home and our lives, helping us to define our family, offering endless entertainment and affection. His final months were tremendously happy and even his final days were bright and adventurous. His suffering, thankfully, was almost nonexistent and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to be with him as he moved on to join our friends who have gone before him.
We miss Leo greatly and 23 Richland is a lonely place today. Our funny little man was incredibly loved and we are so grateful for all of you for being a part of our shared story.

Leo is a Maltese Terrier/mix who just turned 12 on August 24, 2012. His mama passed away and he had nowhere to go. He is a bit bewildered with all his changes, but what a cutie! He is a small dog, weighing approx 5 1/2 lbs. this little one needs someone who will be patient and loving. He is nervous and shy but he warms up when he know he is “home”
