Kira

Kira a sweet and mellow pure-bred Shiba Inu. At 12 years old she has lived a long life full of stories, starting with living in New York City, then moving on to tackle the great city of San Francisco. Two years ago however, due to her owner’s health issues, he became unable to care for Kira, who then became a temporary resident of SF’s High Tail Hotel, where she has spent her days luxuriously lounging with other dogs and staking her claim as their unofficial mascot. However, the time has now come for Kira to be granted her wish of finding a new forever home, ready to open their doors and hearts for her. Kira is extremely healthy for her age, and is great with other dogs and with people. However, she would do best in a low-key home (no young kids or extremely hyper dogs), as she is elderly and prefers to live her life at a relaxed pace. She absolutely LOVES spending time outdoors though, so regular trips to the beach or the park would be right up her alley! This sweet and spunky Shiba is not afraid to tell you what’s on her mind or to crown herself queen of the house. In return though she gives lots of love and company!
