Hhheeerrree’s Johnny! Johnny is a bubbly, happy go lucky pup that will be your second shadow! He’ll follow you from room to room to either lay by your feet or right in your lap. Johnny is great on leash and will make a fantastic walking companion. He makes doggie friends wherever he goes, too! How could you not take home this awesome little guy? Johnny is good with cats, too!

Here’s what Johnny’s foster has to say about this special guy:
“Johnny is looking for his “one and only”. He really wants a partner in life to spend time with an enjoy his life with. He is still young and has energy but really just wants to be with his person. He prefers the company of women and likes a quiet and easy-going household. He does well with other dogs but also will do well on his own. Once he finds his “person” he becomes very attached and will cuddle with you forever, request that you pet him (using his paws to communicate), and generally look at you with his loving eyes. Johnny is a “reader” of people and can sense when someone is tense, anxious or not comfortable with him and does not react well to that. In those situations, he needs a bit of time to warm up and become his lovely self. That can make people skip over him – since he is a bit “slow to warm” to some people – and they are missing a great dog because they don’t give him a chance. Johnny is a slow and meandering walker but loves and enjoys his walks, he travels well in cars and is happy to be carried around too!”
Updated foster note! “Johnny who I call Johnny Cash, is doing well and living the dream! I am ready to tell his new family all about him. He is gentle, housebroken, seems to just nap longer when people aren’t home, is fully able bodied and attentive, gets along with cats and other dogs. On a leash he lets the humans lead and does not pull!”
