Janis

#3558
Miniature Poodle
Female
Small (6-20 lbs)
Status: Adopted for hospice care

Janis was found as a stray in Fresno before finding her way to Muttville. Even though she is blind and deaf, this cute gutsy girl has figured out how to navigate and feel her way around quite well. She is an excellent eater and has no trouble with walking and discovering new smells. In fact, Janis is a hearty walker!! Janis would do well with an experienced, patient caregiver who can provide the the safe loving environment she so deserves. A home without stairs, or only a few, and an accessible yard would be ideal since she is house trained using a doggie door. Janis loves to go for walks and once she knows you, she loves to cuddle, too!

Janis’ foster Mom writes:

Her needs are simple, yummy food, a soft bed, and a walk are pretty much all she needs to be content. Since she can’t see or hear, she has an excellent nose to explore my new home!. Janis is not the biggest cuddle bug, but she is an excellent walker and her own special personality comes out when you know her. A backyard would complete her world!

We think Janis is 10 years young, weighing about 10 lbs.

Janis’s adoption is sponsored by one of our generous donors.
