Howie

Howie is a super good-natured, mellow, wonderful 9 year old, who needs TLC after years of neglect and abuse. This gentle boy has a resilient personality, and is ready for lots of love. Howie had to be shaved down: there were foxtails penetrating into his skin and plenty of fleas, a mass on his belly, and a case of heartworm. Poor boy! But Howie is on the road to feeling great. The heartworm’s being treated, the surgeon removed the mass (nothing serious), and he’s feeling so much better already. Just take a look into those soulful eyes. Howie is housetrained and a great walker. He’s very nice to other dogs, but is still a little hesitant about people. He’s just starting to tiptoe over for a little pat …that sweet personality always shines through. Give him a treat and you will see his smile!
