What a great dog! Hombre lived with the same owner since he was a pup, but his owner is too ill to care for him anymore, and Muttville has taken him. Hombre is currently in a foster home with three other dogs (2 males and one female) plus a cat, and he gets along fine with all of them. Hombre is nine years old and currently weighs around 90 pounds, but with a little more exercise and less food, he should probably weigh around 75.
Hombre has good house manners and knows his basic commands. He is fully housetrained and sleeps through the night. Right now he is lonely for his owner, but he is a very sweet and loyal dog and will bond to a new family with time. He has beautiful markings (sort of like a miniature Holstein cow) and is a very nice and attentive boy. He loves belly rubs!! He’s everything that is wonderful about his breed – joyful, loyal, and intelligent. He has a lot of love to give – he just needs a chance!!
