7/16/09 Thought you wold like a picture of Holly Anne for the Happy Ending Story’s if you have such a thing with Muttville webpage. Holly Anne absolutely perfect for me and is the sweetest dog and bonded very quickly to me. I have found a vet and a groomer within walking distance. She is getting to be quite the city girl. I think I’m going to get her some boots as there is a lot of broken glass on the streets here and also geese and dog droppings. YUK! I have had to have her treated for Giardia which I am sure she got from the streets. We take a long stroll every day mostly in the evening when it is cooler outside. She walks so well on leash and dose not seem to pay any attention to the dogs that are pulling their owners down the street. She slept up on my bed for the first week or two but now chooses to sleep in a cozy bed I have for her on the floor under a table. Since I live on the 16th floor I leave all of my sliding doors open at night and it gets very chilly. Holly has some pink thermal jamies and a warm ,soft fuzzy blanket she snuggles into when she gets in bed. When it’s bedtime I show her her jamies and she is so cute as she comes over to me so I can put them on her. I have a large bathroom, so this is her special place when I have to leave the apartment. I have a very low gate I can step over with a small dog door for her across the bathroom door. In the bathroom I have one of her beds, food and water and something called a spotty potty I got at Walmart in the room. She is very good about using the potty and if there is an accident it is on the linoleum and easy to cleanup. I was not going to put here food in the room where she goes potty but when I had her food out in the kitchen she would carry it into the bathroom to eat. All of the resident and staff here seem to like her and are always asking about her. I may have told you all of this in a previous e-mail but I love to talk about Holly Anne. How is your watermelon Doxie doing?? Take care. Karen—Holly Anne sends woofs to you.
