Gumbo is a handsome Springer Spaniel who was found as a stray in Stanislaus. He came to us in rough shape and is enjoying all the new attention and love he’s getting! Gumbo is a social butterfly and loves everyone he meets. He also does well with dogs of all sizes! Gumbo enjoys going for walks, cuddling, and meeting people. This handsome guy will make a fun companion for any kind of family.
Gumbo is about 7-10 years young and weighs 58 pounds.
Here’s what Gumbo’s foster has to say about this boy:
Gumbo or ‘Bo’ as we like to call him is a “good ol’ boy”. He walks well on a leash and loves to greet people and other dogs. He follows us around everywhere and loves to be included. Bo has a good appetite and devours his food. He sleeps through the night on a dog cushion next to my side of the bed and snores off and on. He’s a smart boy. Bo knows sit and down, and he learned how to use the dog door in one day. He’s house-trained and hasn’t had any accidents in the house.
Due to a tumor on his side, Gumbo is part of our Hospice Care Program.
