Meet Gibson! This handsome devil is an angel who loves leash walks and relaxing with the family. Gibson, a playful yet mellow fellow, was found abandoned five years ago in the parking lot of a Home Depot in Southern California. He was taken in by a loving family that recently had to give him up due to economic challenges brought on by the recession. Gibson, 41 pounds of pure love, is about 8 years old and has diabetes, which is under control with 2 daily insulin injections. His vision is poor due to cataracts, but he walks well on a leash and adapts quickly to new surroundings. Gibson’s former family reports that he is good with children, cats, and other dogs. His foster Dads say that he adapted quickly to his foster home, is really well adjusted, and that the insulin injections aren’t a problem.
