Hi, I’m George! I’m a retired SF SPCA Hearing Dog* (a service dog trained to alert his deaf/hard-of-hearing person to important sounds). After giving 10 years of valuable work as a service dog I lost my person and my sight. I’m blind but am happy, fun loving guy looking for my special “Seeing Person” to share life with. I hear very well and will follow your voice, and my nose, on-leash walks. I love people, treats and get along fine with other dogs. I also enjoy being petted, brushed and feeling the sun on my face.

My adoption comes with the SF SPCA’s Commitment to Care for lifetime veterinary care at the SF SPCA Veterinary Hospital at the Leanne B. Roberts Animal Care Center. Ask to meet me and a staff member will be happy to share detailed information about this with you.
