ESTI is a mature 7 pound terrier/poodle mix with a lot of love to give. She would do best as an only pet, but gets along well with her poodle foster brother. She wants to curl up close to you, whether it’s on the couch or in bed. She also likes to look out the window and guard the house against dogs walking past. She loves to go for walks and for rides in the car. She would be an ideal companion for someone with a quiet life who is looking for a faithful friend.
After Esti came into our program, we soon discovered that she had huge stones in her bladder. After two surgeries, she is doing wonderfully well. She does need to be on a special diet of prescription dog food for the rest of her life. The prescription food is not any more expensive than other high quality foods. A 13oz. can is $2.10. She eats about three cans per week plus a little dry kibble.
