Eekee is an adorable little scruffy terrier mix who came to Muttville all the way from Hawaii to find her forever home!
As a puppy, Eekee was found in a box at a garbage dump, discarded and in rough shape. After being rescued, she went to live with a caring guardian for 9 years. When her guardian had to move and couldn’t take her, Eekee went to live on a beautiful 7.5 acre ranch near Hilo with many other dogs as well as cats and chickens. This adorable dog gets along with every person and dog she meets. She is adjusting so well to life on the mainland, even though she’s been on such a long trip to find her forever home. She is quiet and easy-going, but will get adorably excited about walks and meal time.
She’s come so far to find that special someone who will love her and give her a great home where she will enjoy her senior years and bring her new family lots of joy and snuggles!
We think Eekee is 11 years young, and she weighs 11 pounds.

Eekee is a sweet, timid & gentle little soul! As she has grown more confident in our home, her personality has begun to shine through! She is not super food motivated but will definitely inspect the kitchen when humans are in there. Eekee is active on walks and likes to move, but when she’s in the house, she is pretty lazy! Lots of snoozing and cuddling. Eekee is great with other dogs! As long as Eekee goes out first thing when she wakes up, she is fine with house-training. Our favorite thing is Eekee’s little howl! When we are about to go outside she will start to howl to urge us to get a move on! It is so endearing. She loves her venison treats and is always curious when we go into the kitchen! She loves sleeping in the bed with her humans and she appreciates a nice sweater to keep her comfy.
