Dusty is a beautiful 13 year old 17 pound champagne coated Lhasa Apso who was turned in by his owner to a Southern California shelter. We can’t believe anyone would give up this lovely little being! He has typical Lhasa characteristics….intelligence, grace in motion, mild mannered and a little aloof but loves your affection when offered it. He gets along very harmoniously with his pack of small dog, but he should not live with cats. He has recovered nicely from respiratory and ear infections he had when he came out of the shelter, but he remains hard of hearing. He is very aware of his surroundings, but its best to let him know you are there by being gentle in your touch when approaching him from his back. He is very energetic on his walks and really looks forward to them. He is a very enthusiastic eater and loves food. This Lhasa is quite a lovely gem!
