Dudley

Dachshund/Chihuahua mix
Male
Small (6-20 lbs)
Status: Adopted

Dudley is a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who came to Muttville from a high kill shelter in Los Angeles. The workers at the shelter loved him so much they hid him in the back so he wouldn’t be euthanized. Dudley is a super sweet and gentle loverboy and likes nothing more than to be with his person. He is 10 years old and weighs approximately 15 pounds. He is also housetrained.

Dudley has a lot of energy. He loves to go for brisk walks and would make a great power walk buddy. He also loves to play tug of war and fetch with his toys.

He would make a great family dog with kids to play with him. It would be great if whoever adopts him could give him at least two good walks every day as well as other activities like playing fetch or taking him to a dog park a few days a week. Dudley would also be an excellent companion someone living alone as he has excellent hearing and a nice deep bark, so he’s a good watchdog. His other favorite activities are lying in the sun and getting belly rubs. When you give him a snack he takes it so gently, like the little gentleman he is.

Dudley will be happy to sleep under the covers with his person, but if that’s not an option he’s content to sleep in his own bed wrapped up in his fleece blanket (which he can wrap himself up in with no help). He just likes to be warm.

Dudley comes with his own bed and blanket to wrap up in, plus collar, harness, leash, and toys. His is micro chipped and current on his shots. Dudley is good in cars.
