Dia

#1796
Pomeranian
Female
Small (6-20 lbs)
Status: Adopted

Beautiful, sweet Dia arrived from Kern County. She is on the shy side, and has an amazing lush cream colored coat! She settled in with her foster family very nicely. We think she is about 8 years old, and weighs 14 pounds.

Dia’s foster parents write:

Dia has been such a pleasure to foster. She is as sweet and gentle as can be, and has the softest, most lush fur. It has definitely taken her a while to warm up to my dogs and me, but all you really need is patience. It has been amazing to see her transformation from an incredibly shy dog that is afraid of touch and keeps her tail between her legs, to a dog that wags her tail and does a happy dance whenever she sees me! She’s my constant shadow. Dia is gaining more confidence day by day, but she is definitely going to need someone who is willing to give her time to adjust. She is learning to love going on walks with my other dogs, and she is completely housetrained. She even seems to like water! Dia could probably live in almost any home, but would probably be best in a quiet home with older children, or no children. She could also live with both dogs and cats. She is a very special little girl who obviously had a very rough start at life, so she more than deserves to find her forever home. It is impossible not to fall in love with her when she looks at you. Anyone would be incredibly lucky to have her.
