Delilah lived a wonderful life with her adoptive family — she was incredibly lucky to have so much love at the end of her days. Below is a remembrance from her family:
Delilah, I will miss your kisses, the way you would communicate with grunts, & how your lil cinnamon bun of a tail would wiggle when I walk through the door or say your name….I will even miss your snores that kept me up so many nights. I love your fearlessness, despite not having eyes you were ready to explore & would bulldoze over anything in your way. Thank you for being so loving, even though you had no reason to trust humans after your past experience. I always say that you have helped me as much as I helped you, & I truly mean it. I just wish we had more time together.
