Darby is an adorable Shih Tzu who came to us all the way from LA after his guardian passed away. He has settled in very quickly and already thinks he’s the star of the show! Darby is missing an eye and has limited vision, but that doesn’t slow him down or stop him from being spunky, outgoing, and very curious. He trots around with lots of pep in his step and is very social. Darby loves people and other dogs – even when he bumps into them! And he is house-trained! Darby is a very happy little guy and is sure to put a smile on your face!

Darby is playful, loyal, sweet, loving and easy-going! He loves meeting new people & just wants to give love and receive it in return. He’s a sweet companion who always wants to be near you, whether it’s curled on a rug while your cooking or keeping your toes warm while you’re reading a book. He’s active in the morning and afternoon and likes going on a couple of 20 min walks after eating. He also loves playing with you! He’s excited to meet other dogs. He is house-trained and he sleeps all night without needing to be let out. He is THE BEST. He’s trained, easy going and mostly just wants to hang out with you. I have never heard him bark.
Darby is 9 years young and weighs 12 pounds.
