Coco is Muttville’s first American Water Spaniel and she is quite a sweetheart. Found as a stray in Contra Costa County, this gentle girl was covered in foxtails and brambles. While she was neglected, she now shows her resilience. We think she is about 7 years old and weighs 50 pounds. She’s had some health issues with her kidneys and liver but she’s better and has gained some weight. This lovely girl gets along with most dogs and cats.

Coco’s foster Mom writes:

My cat Amelia has warmed up to her and brushes against Coco’s chest, while waiting for me to feed her brother and sisters. Coco has never bugged the cats. Coco likes to be scratched under her chin and loves the dog park! Coco enjoys her two daily walks even though her back legs are stiff.

Coco will continue to blossom under the loving care of her next forever home!

We’re delighted to report that Coco 1431 is currently in a loving and caring home. Thanks to all the wonderful friends of Muttville who helped to make this happen.
