One of the most heartbreaking stories in all my years in rescue, but you would never ever know it by Clarice’s love of life! This little Cockapoo was brought into the shelter with maggots, ants, open wounds and foxtails all over her body. Brought in by the family!!!!
This angel is one of the sweetest, happiest little girls, she holds no grudges against anyone. She is grateful for any and all the love and attention she is now getting. Her tail hasn’t stopped wagging since she arrived. She is so ready to make a life with her new family, and a family will be very very lucky to have this cuddle muffin. We are not sure of her age, perhaps 7 or 8 years old and she weighs 17 pounds.
Her foster Mom reports: Clarise is such a loving girl! She makes great eye contact and she’s excited about everything! Mealtime, bedtime, car rides, a walk. She’s a good little walker, too, with a special waddle in her hindparts. She gets attention everywhere I go as she is a wagging machine! She may have been neglected, but she has nothing but love in her heart.
