Little Christy was so frightened when we first met, she was still and did not move when I came into her kennel at the animal shelter. Big barking dogs on all sides of her, that didn’t help matters.
But my patience paid off, as I sat there, she slowly crawled on her belly and laid in my lap. It took another few minutes for her shaking to stop.
Today, you wouldn’t know she is the same dog! Christy is spry and young and wagging her tail around Muttville.
She is feeling better after her abandonment and is ready for love and her new home!
She is about 7 years young and weighs about 15 pounds. Christiy can still be a bit shy and would be best in a home with older children that will be gentle and go slow with her.
She is good with other dogs!
