Candy & Tanna are absolute sweethearts, who have lived together nearly their entire lives. Their previous owner, who was forced to give them up due to her age & illness, adopted them together as puppies (from two different litters). Tanna & Candy are medium sized, each weighing 41 pounds. They are both 11 years old now (but Tanna could easily pass for much younger), very loving, and complement each other very well (they could have been called Yin & Yang).
Tanna is an Elkhound (sometimes called Norwegian Elkhound). She is constantly smiling and wagging her tail! Tanna is very social, and will try to meet everyone & everything she encounters. She loves to go for walks, taking it all in. She struts proudly on the leash, and runs & romps when off leash (and comes right away when called).
Candy is a Spaniel mix, and is more reserved than her sister, but still very sweet. She loves to go for drives, and will hop in a vehicle even if you are not going anywhere! On walks, she takes her time to check out the smells, and always takes a look back to make sure her ‘person’ is still following behind when she is off leash. They are both housetrained, and respectful of other dogs and cats.
They seem very happy & healthy, and would be a perfect pair for whoever adopts them! Candy & Tanna are looking forward to meeting you!
