Hi there, my name is Bud, which is an appropriate name because I will make a GREAT bud to somebody someday. I have a very calm nature and I love to be wherever you are. But one look into my dark, soulful eyes tells a story of when things weren’t so happy in my life.
When my owner surrendered me to the Los Angeles animal shelter, I was already 10 years old with poor eye sight and in pretty bad shape. It had been a long time since anyone had attended to my health or my beautiful golden curly coat which was dirty and matted when I showed up at the shelter. Thankfully, I got a good haircut and I’m feeling much better as a result. And THEN before I knew it, I was on an airplane to San Francisco where the nice folks at Muttville have taken me in.
I’m still new here, and I’m not sure what to make of everything that has happened to me, and I feel a lot of sadness for some of those things. But I’m starting to come out of my shell and introduce myself to everyone here. I already have a feeling that things are going to start to change for me, and that there just might be someone out there who will be my forever companion who will love and care for me and who I can learn to trust and love in return.
