OK, who loves large pugs?? I mean big, Bubba is 110 pounds of love! Bubba is a gentle giant who is quiet and he is sweet. He loves to play, too. But what Bubba really loves is children!!!
Bubba is a purebred Mastiff. It’s not his fault that he ended up at one of our local Bay Area shelters where he became a volunteer and staff favorite! He is 7 years young and enjoys life to the fullest. Bubba has a bit of arthritis but he likes his walks, and he even jogs for joy making him look like a puppy!!!
Bubba is a great spooner and gives gentle kisses. He has a soft mouth when taking treats and very soulful eyes. Because of Bubba’s size and strength we would like to find an experienced large dog person! Bubba can be reactive to small dogs and cats and would be best in a home of his own with just a few stairs.
In foster care, his person writes: “He’s an excellent communicator and let’s us know when it’s time to go – there were NO accidents. He’s a lapdog, very gentle and Bubba let me boss him around with no attitude on his part. His back end needs to be built up, but with all the protein & walks he’s had, he seems to have improved!”
