Sail away beautiful girl!
Bridgett aka “The Dowager” was a sweet and lovely presence in our home for the last 10 months of her life. We were told she had between an hour and six months to live due to a rather large tumor on her adrenal gland. For the next 10 months, Bridgett enjoyed a bed in every room of the house, a buffet of wet food and treats, pastry morsels from her friends at the corner bakery and all the snuggles and love she could tolerate. In return she would paw for more scratches when she felt like it, give selective single kisses, made an amazing happy snorting sound when she ate her meals, and had a tale wag for all acquaintances on her daily walks. Bridgett’s sweet presence (and adorable snoring) in our home will be very missed. She asked for very little but we found ourselves wanting to give her a lot. Thank you Muttville for the chance to know and love her.
