Brady 849

Rottweiler/Labrador mix
Male
Large (50-90 lbs)
Status: Adopted

Brady was a true Muttville gentledog and we all loved him so much and will miss him. He had a bumpy road but toward the end he was truly loved and knew it.

he will be missed by many. Bye, our big boy, may you be free of pain and suffering now and romp in the green grass, over the rainbow.

Brady’s road to Muttville was sad but currently, it sure is looking up! Brady is a Muttville Alumni adopted in 2010. In early May, the shelter in San Jose called about a dog with a Muttville microchip who was turned in because the guardian died and left no instructions for Brady. This is a lesson for us all to learn, for sure. So, lucky for Brady, we were notified and now he is back at Muttville. Brady is now close to 11 years old, and weighs 75 pounds. He is a bit chunkier but his smile is still bright. I might call Brady a grumpy old man, he does fine with dogs that aren’t jumping all over him and a quiet mellow, adult-only home is a must. He is a slow easy walker and is house trained. He is not a barker at all and is easy in a car.

Below is his first bio written in 2010:

I’m Brady the rottie labrador! They said I was 7 yrs old but the vet thinks I may be younger, it’s just that my teeth were really bad, probably from chewing on bad things! My tail wags like crazy, so move out of the way! I am exuberant and playful, and might be a bit too much for young children, so I am looking for an adult only home. I weigh about 60 pounds and the vet says I am healthy as a horse! I would enjoy hiking and going to the beach, I would also love to have a doggie pal.
