Bertha’s mom passed away, she waited by the door for a few days for her to come back once they took her away. While she is feeling happier and more secure every day, she is still a bit heartbroken… just needs a new person/family to love.
She is a wonderful, sweet choco lab, about 10 years old. She has a bit of a limp, yet enjoys her walks and gets around pretty well.
Bertha is gentle with all dogs and cats and adores kids. She is an indoor dog who asks for so little… just a warm bed, basket of Nylabones and a home where she feels loved again. And she does great with a routine and not too much changing it up!
While she loves to get to go and rides well in the car, she has been ok home alone. Just be prepared for giant Bertha kisses and wags when you return!
Our big Bertha gave her mom so much love and devotion till she passed. Now, it is her turn!
