Meet Audrey! This tiny little Chihuahua girl comes to us from Oakland.

She was originally found by city workers after being abandoned in an apartment, but despite this big change in her life she couldn’t be a sweeter girl! Audrey loves everyone she meets and especially enjoys sitting in people’s laps. She will make a wonderful lap dog! Audrey is also great with dogs of all sizes and loves going for walks. We know this sweet little pup will bring so much love into your life!

Audrey is 10 years young and weighs 6 pounds.

Audrey’s foster moms say:

Audrey is like a forgotten rose bush in an abandon field. It takes a little effort to notice her (she is small and a neutral beige color), but once you discover her and give her a bit of attention and care, she immediately starts to bud and bloom. She had a rough beginning, but she is a resilient little flower. (Sadly, Audrey was found in an empty apartment in a cage. But, that is the past. Now her life is full of treats, yummy food, soft beds, hugs, kisses, and all the love her heart and little body can handle.)

It has been a pleasure to see her blossom both physically and emotionally. She enjoys belly scratches, short walks, sunbathing, Netflix binges, keeping laps warm, and snoozing under the covers with her humans. She is house trained and is living with two other dogs. She doesn’t need much, but it is a gift to spoil her rotten.

Audrey is very sweet, gentle, and affectionate! Just give her a week or two to adjust to your home and she will be your new sidekick. She likes all types of people and currently lives with two dogs. Her energy level is not high, but she does get excited when you come home and will run to join you when it is bedtime. She can walk 2-3 blocks and especially enjoys leisurely strolls on grassy fields. She is fond of soft dog beds, human beds, and the couch. She LOVES sleeping under the covers with her humans in their bed. She is house trained, but may have a couple of accidents in her new home the first day . Don’t fret, she is just trying to figure out your routine. She is able to hold it through the night.
