Handsome Archie is a very mellow boy with the lushest red coat and sweetest fuzzy face you ever laid eyes on. This lovely chow mix was so skinny when he was found stray.
Now he hardly looks like the same dog after a few weeks of square meals, nice long walks and a soft bed. He loves to be near his human, and is equally happy hanging around the house or going to the backcountry.
He needs a medium amount of walking (maybe an hour or two a day) to keep his giant bear paws in shape and his aging joints from getting creaky, but with a bit of daily exercise, a few chews and treats and regular bowls of the food he loves, he’s a pretty near perfect combination of slowgoing old man and energetic tail-wagging pup.
Archie is housebroken and very curious about people, but gentle with folks of all ages. He would prefer a home without other dogs however he is learning better manners all the time.
