The Joys of Fostering

The Joys of Fostering

Hey everyone. Ali here. As ya’ll may know, I have been fostering for Muttville for about a year and a half, and as anyone who has met me can attest, it has changed my life. It gives me purpose, fulfillment, reason, passion, and guidance.

As a young woman, I simply do not have the money or time to care for a dog – but I have a home, a shelter, that can house an old dog. And since I’ve begun with Muttville, I’ve fostered 12 dogs, all of course I’ve seen on to awesome homes or peaceful resting spots.

The joys of fostering are endless – I’ve made friends with the people who’ve adopted my dogs, I’ve made volutneer friends, I’ve gained respect from my peers and colleagues.

Check out this cool article in today's SFGate featuring our founder, Sherri Franklin, and Muttville:

If you’re a Muttville stalker, also check out “The Joys of Fostering” in the November/December issue of Bark Magazine.

You can’t do any better work than to open your home to an easy dog – Sherri will fit you with a dog that matches your schedule and needs. Contact us today, and have a friend around for the holidays.
